All right folks. This episode really should have been out last week and I apologize that it's late.

I had a equipment malfunction slash recording app failure that made it so I wasn't able to get an episode out last

week and really for this one I'm just trying to hit the highlights for the Idaho

0:21.8

changes going forward.

0:24.0

Hopefully you get a chance to listen to this before purchasing your or getting online

0:30.0

in an attempt to purchase your Idaho permits should you be one of the non-residents planning

to hunt. The great state of Idaho in 2021. First I want to hit a quick summary just as kind of a public service announcement of

0:48.3

some of the outdoor related show season situations for 2021. So far the following shows have all been

SCI show, that's Safari Club International Show, usually held in Reno for the

1:10.8

past few years, has been been cancelled and the Western Hunting

1:14.4

Expo that I typically attend every year in Salt Lake City Utah has gone

1:19.0

virtual and I don't know how well that's going to go. I appreciate that they're trying, but I think that there's going to be some real challenges in getting much useful out of that. I suspect the reason they

1:35.3

weren't able to flat out cancel the Western Hunting Expo is because it generally has a

1:40.3

vast quantity of very premium hunting tags for, geez, opportunities around the world

1:49.2

that are sold at auction and given out through lottery and all of those proceeds allegedly go to benefit

1:58.7

wildlife management.

2:01.4

The DSC show, Dallas Safari Club show, has been rescheduled to February 11th through 14th.

2:08.0

That's scheduled to be held in Dallas, Texas, and from what I can tell, has not yet been cancelled. We'll see what occurs

2:17.7

going forward, of course, with COVID-19 scares and so forth and see what transpires there.

2:25.8

I hope that one sticks to its guns and is held even if they have to employ some
