Internet culture. And today, we are once again talking about an award show. How did this

happen? I did not sign up for this. There is like a solid two-month period of the year

where it is the life of a culture journalist to discuss Sunday night award shows in the

early week days that follow. I have managed to avoid this thus far in my career, and I'm

really feeling the blessing that was the last few years.

Well, naturally today, we're talking about the prestigious and elite awards that are

the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. The most prestigious, the most elite, the most immaculate

of slime available to man. I mean, is it really an award-birth winning if it's not in the

form of a tiny orange blimp? No, no, it's not. Like, who the fuck cares about a little

golden man? Is it even made out of gold? No? Well then, fake news.

But you can be sure the orange blimp is made of blimp. Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's made from bits

of the Hindenburg. Not a Hindenburg reference. Did you see that viral tweet the other day about

how there's actually only 25 blimps left in the world? I'm sorry, I didn't realize blimps

were in endangered species. Save the blimps, save the blimps, save the blimps. So the reason

we're talking about blimps, and more importantly, the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards is a personal

faith of mine. JoJo Siwa has been egregiously wronged, in my opinion. Oh, without a doubt,

but please, as the JoJo Siwa Stan of this podcast, explain. Okay, so JoJo Siwa, just icon
