Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of Tackle Talk.

I'm kind of excited for today's episode. It's a little different. We're not going to talk about specific techniques or specific types of fishing anything like that. I wanted to dive a little bit into the I-Cast Awards.

For those of you that don't know what it is, we'll kind of go over what I-cast is.

I'm sure most of you have heard of it by now, if you spend any amount of time at all online looking at fishing

information but we're gonna go over kind of the history of icast and then I

wanted to take a look at the last couple years worth of winners

specifically for freshwater categories so think

like freshwater hard bait, freshwater soft bait, reels and rods and I just kind of wanted

to look and see if we can find any patterns because over the

past couple years one thing I've noticed is that some of these categories

without kind of giving away too much seem like the the winners that get chosen every year are things that I am never in a

million years going to actually use. It just almost seems like a company set out to

create something for shock value or something to win this award or for

publicity or things like that. It's not actually anything that's going to be
