We missed you yesterday, but we are back and ready, and we have a really, really fun show for you guys today.

We are introducing our way too early top 25 rankings.

And something that we said last year, Brian, is yes, we are going to critique and give our opinions on other people's list when they put them out. That also doesn't mean that we're going to be some of those people that critique, critique, critique, critique, and then don't put out a list of our own. So very excited about doing this. If you're going to hammer people for the opinions that they have and the work that they do,

then you should be willing to come up with your own rankings as well. And so we're going to do that,

Trev. And this is fun. I always enjoyed doing these because, again, this is honest analysis.

We didn't just like throw dice to see who was going to be where. Trev didn't have a dart board with all the 100 some teams on. He's throwing darts at to see who's going to be his top 25 for some of the picks. It's meant to be fun, but it is honest analysis. We're giving you our honest opinion. I mean, we spent the last three, four days just diving into depth charts.

And we're texting back and forth. Like, dude, I was really feeling this team, but I just realized they got like five brand new starting offensive line. And that's a concern. Or there's a couple teams. Like, I didn't think I was going to have some teams ranked as high as I did going into it. And then you kind of compare them to other teams. and you're like, boy, this team has a chance to be pretty good this year.

So it was a fun process to go through. and then you kind of compare them to other teams and you're like, boy, this, this team has a chance

looking at it. And I've given Trevor the freedom to kind of put his ranking together the way

he wants to without a lot of direction. And I'll let him explain when he gets to his sort of like what his philosophy

is. Mine is simply where teams should rank at the beginning of the season. This is not a

prediction of who will be ranked at the end of the year. It is a based on what teams did last

year. You can't ignore that. You also don't put the entire weight of it on last season because teams are different.

It's about partly what you did last season, partly what kind of retention you had to your roster,

and then what retention you had in your coaching staff, and then what I project your team

to be talent-wise going into the season.

So it's not so much a prediction of, I think this team is going to finish the year 12th,

and this team's going to be 14th.
