First and foremost, Kalani Sataki, he's 23 and 4 in the last two seasons. And this is the first year that he's had a returning starting quarterback in Bear Bachmeier. L.J. Martin coming back at

running back is also huge for them. They kept their portal losses to a minimum. They lost

mostly depth pieces. And there was really only three portal losses that they had where

if position battles kind of panned out the way that they thought they were going to,

the players who transferred might have started. They also bring back Parker Kingston at wide receiver.

That's huge for them.

He was their leading receiver.

66 catches, 924 yards.

He averaged 14 yards of catch and five touchdowns.

Key pieces come back in both sides of the trenches from a leadership and from a production

standpoint.

BYU is in a spot where now they have a quarterback that's a dual threat.

He has experience in big games, played against Texas Tech twice, as a true freshman played

in the conference championship game. And honestly, the move to get him, I'm still in love with,

because after the whole thing went down with Jake Retzlaff, you kind of had to turn to a true

freshman of Bear Bachmeier who ended up leaving Stanford. And so I think BYU is kind of poised to go on another run. Kalani Sataki is absolutely cooking right now in Provo, Utah. Very excited to see what they do when Notre Dame comes to town as well. I think that that has the potential, Brian, to be a top 10 matchup that not enough people are talking about.
