Just when it seemed like the freak out level couldn't get any higher. It has dropped just two days after Marcus Freeman said he still hadn't decided on who his starting quarterback would be to open the season.

Notre Dame made it social media official today. They announced redshirt freshman C.J. Carr as the

man. But so my question right now to Notre Dame Nation, how are you feeling right now? Are you excited?

Are you fired up? Are you nervous? Are you relieved? Are

you upset? You know, like there are some, there were some people backing Kenny Menchie in this

whole thing. I think that you and I tried to stay as down the middle as we could, you know,

throughout this whole process and let it play out.
