Welcome into today's show.

With everything that's going on right now,

there really was no other topic that I wanted to talk about

except for what I'm going to share here today.

You know, I am sad. I am angry. I am confused.

And yet at the same time, I'm also very clear on what has to happen,

what I must do, what I must acknowledge, what I must talk about, what I can control.

And I've been doing a lot of research, a lot of education, a lot of listening, a lot of question asking.

And, you know, as I've come across so many great resources and tools and leaders and information,

you know, I realized even though I grew up as, you know, someone who hung around a lot of African-Americans and black people and, you know, someone who hung around a lot of African Americans and black people and, you know,

considered myself a part of many of their families, you know, and communities at the same time,

you know, not acknowledging how much injustice and ignorance and privilege I have in my own life

and experienced personally. And one of my favorite quotes this week that I've come across by
