I'm Carly Weizelle, and I'm coming to you from the other side of having a one-year-old.

Yes, it was Pearl's first birthday since we last spoke.

It was absolutely mind melding.

I can't believe it happened.

She had her own little baby cake.

We celebrated twice.

We had one celebration at home where basically we just,

okay.

Obviously, you know my mom if you listen to this podcast.

My mom, like six months ago, gave me this like 2-2 and like this first birthday hat,

which I was like, this is the most hideous thing I've ever seen.

I hate that this is my house.

And then of course I ended up using it and it made for incredible photos because my mom is

always right as much as I hate to say that and when she texts me that I said that on

this podcast I will ignore it. But anyway we put Pearl in her little outfit.

We gave her a little baby-friendly cake.

Then my friend Jordan made, it was like coconut flour and dates

and Greek yogurt frosting and the sidebar absolutely delicious.

We had leftovers and Ben and I both ate them

more than we would ever eat regular cake
