Summary

Lori LeDonne grew up in Connecticut with a good family and a passion for music. But after suffering a miscarriage, Lori turned to drugs, starting a battle with addiction that would last decades. She got sober for years, only to relapse in her early 50s — a relapse that would change everything. Lori ended up giving drugs to a young woman who overdosed, leading to a manslaughter conviction and a three-year sentence in a women’s maximum security prison. #AddictionRecovery #WomenInPrison #LockedInPodcast #ManslaughterCase #TrueCrimePodcast #RedemptionStory #PrisonStories #secondchances Thank you to BLUCHEW & PRIZEPICKS for sponsoring this episode: BlueChew: Visit https://bluechew.com/ and use promo code LOCKEDIN at checkout to get your first month of BlueChew FREE & pay five bucks for shipping. Lori, welcome to Lockton. Thanks so much for coming today. Thank you for having me. I know we had to kidnap you in an Uber to get you over here today. You did. You did. But I'm glad we can make this work and just getting over being sick. So thanks for moving things around to adjust the schedule this week. I'm glad you're feeling better. Yeah, when I get sick, I'm just miserable. I'm glad I had like the last couple days, no interviews to just like recuperate. Still got a little lump in my throat. But I did not want the miserable, Ian. Yeah, I get so depressed when I'm sick. I get sick like twice a year. I got sick in February before I did the Mr. Beast thing like the week before and now I'm sick again. Can't win. You're still smiling. I'm always smiling. People when I do like when I'll ask like a serious question during the interview and it gets put out on a clip, that's like a serious thing. People are like, why is the host smiling? Like it's so weird. It's like that's just my personality. It's not like, I don't think it's put out on a clip that's like a serious thing people are like why is the host smiling like it's so weird it's like that's just my personality it's not like uh i don't think it's like a joke or funny it's just i'm always smiling yeah i kind of got that same thing that's a good thing i don't think
