I just want your opinion on something. In March, I was laid off from my job of seven years

for COVID. But a few weeks later, I found out that it took half of my responsibilities and

outsourced them to another country. So I wouldn't be called back. So needless to say, I know we don't

care about feelings, but I was angry and I was devastated because I really love myself.

I care very much about feelings. I just don't like feelings to be the mechanism by which we make

decisions. Okay, well, that makes sense. Okay. So since that time, I've been looking for other work

and I was online and I saw that the same company was hiring for a position, but not the same department.

And I ended on a great note. They loved me. So I thought, I'm going to try this and I applied for

it and they welcomed me back with open arms to this new new department, new position.

Now some people are telling me, don't be a jackass. They screwed you over.

Why would you want to go back? And I said, business is business.
