I'm Entertainment Writer Jim Hill, and joining me now is Disney expert Shelley Bayadolid.

Hi there.

And we are recording this on Thursday July 16th.

And yes I know it's been quite a while between shows here folks but you have to remember that the Disney

Resort closed its two theme parks back on March 14th and then Disney World then closed its four theme parks a day after that and

then on March 17th the Walt Disney Company announced that it was closing all of

the Disney stores in North America.

So at that point it got a little tough to do a show

about Disney merch.

But Shelley came up with a very interesting work around. Do you want to talk about your wine idea?

Yes, I ordered some wine from Silverado Vineyards,

Ron and Diane Miller's winery up in Stag's.

Now that, fun fact, the piece of property that Ron and Diane bought back in the 70s actually was owned by the C's standing?

I did not know that. I love C's candy, the nuts and shoes, man.

They're the best.

Anyway, so the idea was they wanted some place quiet, someplace far away from the

Hustle and Bustle of Burbank. they buy this place and I think you were mentioning

that at least initially they were selling the graves back to the statue of pups

or something like that? to several wineries in the area and they finally decided in 81 that they were going to go on it for themselves.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, kind of interesting because after all those years working at Disney, it wasn't enough just to build a vineyard, so to speak.
