Each year, the anniversary of your mom's murder passes, do you get scared in a way or worried that another 15 or 20 years of your life goes by, the older you get, that if you don't have enough progress, do you get worried about not being able to resolve this in your life?

No. I've never had a doubt that I'm going to get the person that killed my mom.

We want to tell you about a case today that is featured in a new podcast from KGW in Portland, Oregon and Vault Studios.

It's called The Yellow Car, and I'm joined by Ashley Corselin reporter, an anchor at KGW, and host of the Yellow Car.

Previously, Ashley has hosted, Urge to Kill, another really fascinating podcast from KGW and Vault Studios.

Ashley, thanks for joining us. Let's talk about how this case first came to your attention. There's a lot to this.

We're not going to give away everything, but let's talk about it. How did it come to your attention? Yeah, so it was almost

two years ago. I was contacted by someone who had listened to our first podcast, Urged to Kill,

and they said, hey, I have a friend who has a really, really interesting story.

It's on sort of a cold case from 30 years ago, right in our area in Vancouver, Washington.

And she connected me with this woman named Pune Gray.

And Pune had quite the story to tell us about this case.

And it was about her mom's murder in 1989.

And it was almost pretty shocking to me to hear her case, and it was about her mom's murder in 1989. And it was almost pretty

she started telling me her story, and it's really, really fascinating. So, Ashley, tell us what happened
