And he also has one of this selective hearing problems, which we get so often in radio. People, I remember once

a lady phoned me up in those halcyon days. And she said, you've just said this. I said,

no, I haven't. She said, I've just heard you. And it was something, I forget what it was.

It was something really stupid. You know, it generally is. It's somebody with hard of hearing. And I said, I've just

heard you. She said, don't call me a liar. And I said, but you didn't hear that, because I didn't say

that. And of course, what they tend to forget, people who are sort of a bit like that, is that we can

then just go back into the system and play it back again. I said, wait a minute, we found it. Here it is. Have a listen carefully.

Played it all back again. Of course, there was no mention of anything she thought she'd heard.

So she went, hmm, and hung up.

Which I thought was hilarious. I love it when people are proved wrong.
