If you are new to the show, welcome.

If you've been watching or listening for some time, then you probably have some questions

around this episode since it's an episode that we uploaded a couple seasons back but ended

up taking down.

On this episode we spoke with a military investigator who claimed to have performed

controversial enhanced interrogation techniques on detainees in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo

Bay.

We ended up taking the episode down shortly after.

Just because we felt like there was a bit more vetting and due diligence that we could

have done since the topic isn't something we would typically cover.

And to be clear, we always do our best to vet guests as much as possible and we never want

to put out any episode that's just for shock value or may not be true.

And since recording that episode, we've received confirmation that the guest was in the military

which included documents, photos, discharge papers and while it's of course not possible

for us to 100% verify the actions that he has claimed to have committed, we decided that

we ultimately want to give our listeners a chance to see and hear that episode and just

want to drop that quick disclaimer and explanation.

But we're excited for you guys to finally experience the episode and enjoy.
