Summary

This episode is all about the next generation of beauty lovers: Gen-Z. Growing up in a world dominated by social media, influencers, and what often feels like an infinite selection of beauty products is entirely different from my own experience as a teenager in the early 2000s. And so, I decided to sit down with three incredibly cool, mature, and honest Gen-Z girls to get their take on beauty, fashion, mental health, race, and of course, Emma Chamberlain. Enjoy!

0:33.1	I remember I had like a coal eyeliner phase.
0:36.6	I think it was a Mac eyeliner that I would draw on like my inner bottom eye and on top.

0:44.6	It was not cute, but I just thought that was like the coolest thing.
0:47.9	Also Avril Lavigne was very popular at the time.
0:50.7	You kind of had to be there.
0:52.9	When I was 13 though, I was also signed as a Ford model.
0:56.3	I think I did my first modeling job when I was 12.
0:58.9	It was for a magazine called Teen People that doesn't even exist anymore.
1:03.0	I did other modeling jobs for 17.
1:05.6	So I think I was very aware of beauty and cosmetics.
1:09.1	I mean, I would get my makeup done for these shoots.
1:11.0	I walked New York Fashion Week when I was 14.
1:14.1	I walked in the Tommy Hill figure show.
