Hi there and welcome to the Christian Science Daily Lift.

Today we'll hear from Fiona, who's speaking to us from a summer camp for Christian scientists.

I was in my cabin and I was having a grand old time skipping around and it was really fun.

And then there happened to be a piece of glass on the floor and so I stepped on it.

It did not feel very good.

My cabin mates and my counselor started singing hymns to me.

Like, Shepard Show Me, the Girls, Shepherds show me how to go,

or the hillside steep, how to gather, how to sow, how to feed thy sheep.

I will listen for thy voice, lest my footsteps stray. I will follow and rejoice all the rugged way, just knowing that, like,

if I have a problem, like, Shepherds show me, I can ask God, and God will always answer,

even though it might be hard or less my footsteps stray. There's also another hymn that was the theme

last year here at camp. It was, the joy that none can take away is mine.

I walk with love today.

And so I was thinking, if I'm having fun and doing something that I love, my joy can't be taken

away and I can always be happy and keep going.

I just kept moving along with my day and I just felt way better after seeing those hymns and

laughing with my cabinets.

It's all better now and there's no cut.
