As I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and the earth, you know what the first thing he gave me? His grace.

And you know what secondly blew me away? That I never had peace.

These are the Siamese twins of the New Testament. We call them the Siamese twins.

You cannot have peace with God unless you first experience the grace of God.

That's the problem with the world today.

Turn to the book of First Peter, chapter one. And you know what's amazing about first Peter? It's the

writer himself. He's one of the 12 apostles of Jesus Christ. And what's amazing about Peter

is that Peter was married. He was a fisherman from the sea of Galilee.

And then at the same time, Peter, in his call of God, he gave us two letters, first and second, Peter.

When you study the letter of Peter, it's a personal letter that he's writing in a special time.

It's a time when Rome was persecuting Christians. Think for a moment all of the people they were living at this particular

time in history, where the Roman government had made rules and regulations as Nero not only hated Christians, but they were

being tortured, they were being killed, they were being burned alive by being tart, they were being

thrown into the arena with animals and being in alive, women, children, mothers and fathers.
