So we need to be strong believers in our faith.

Never waver back and forth, even to the point that we're willing to give our lives for Jesus Christ,

fooling completely.

guide you as you follow him in humble devotion. We'll begin today in 1st Peter chapter 1,

verse 13. Here's Roll Rees. Now Peter in the second part of chapter 1, he's going to talk to us now

in verses 13 to the end of the chapter concerning how we need to live a life of holiness.

Wow. A life of holiness. Man, surely that is one thing that is lacking in the church today the holiness of god

in so many people's lives a lot of times people don't even understand what that is but continuing

here in first peter it's incredibly because the church who not only in that time was facing great

persecution and peter already wrote to us in the first letter because the church, not only in that time, was facing great persecution.

And Peter already wrote to us in the first letter here in the first verses and encourages us,

and is encouraging them to make sure that they put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, period.

And yet today we need to learn from them.

Because the days that we're living in today, the days that we're heading to, very important days.

Not to be fearful of anything that would happen, but to really be secure, to really be sure, to really stand upon
