You can stand Romans chapter 13, now verses 8 to 14.

We are now in a brand new section of Romans chapter 13, and this next few weeks will be bearing this title.

I owe you.

I owe you.

And it's true.

I owe you, but because our Christianity operates on a two-way street,

you owe me. And you'll see what that means in a moment. You owe one another. And what could all

this mean? Well, I think it's going to become clear in Romans 13, starting into verse 8.

I'll read the even-numbered verse.

If you guys read nice and loud, the odd-numbered verses, Paul says to them,

Oh, no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

For the command is, you shall not commit adultery.

You shall not murder.

You shall not steal.

You shall not bear false witnesses.

You shall not covet.

And if there's any other commandment, all are all summed up in this same.

You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Verse 10, love does no harm to a neighbor.

Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.

And do this, knowing the time that now is high time to wake out of sleep, for our separation is near than we first

believe.
