Hi audio podcast listeners I feel I owe you a bit of an explanation about an episode I put up a few days ago about Russell Brand and the allegations around him.

It's not gone down very well with a lot of people on the audio podcast.

It's also not gone down very well with a lot of people on YouTube,

but for the opposite reason.

I as many of you know the podcast is called on the edge with Andrew Gold.

The point of it is that I warn of the edges it's about me trying to stay in the center and middle grounded.

Sometimes I bend over backwards to see both sides and do so in a way that will offend people and sorry and with regards to to

Russell if I'm completely honest and I suppose sometimes I just have to go out and say

where I stand and what I feel. I believe the women who have come forward and I

believe and maybe it's irresponsible of me to say so that that many more potentially

will come forward there's already a fifth accuser at the time of speaking. However I think I made a mistake in uploading my very first

reactions to the audio podcast. This audio podcast is more of an evergreen place.

So things don't really have the dates on and things like that.

So I was very excited though about being first.

You know, on YouTube it's all about that and

you you're and it's it's actually a good system because the algorithm then puts your

video out to people who wouldn't usually be your subscribers and you get loads more new people to see your stuff.

Whereas on the audio podcast, nobody's, nobody who's not already subscribing to you is going to listen.

You can't really grow your

podcast in any real sense so it's a bit useless. So I mean the truth is I

suddenly saw that Russell had put up this video defending himself.

This was a day before the documentary or anything else actually came out about it.
