And so today I have one of my friends on Maya Billman. I don't even know if that's how I say her last name, but she started M.M. Designs,

and it is taken off. It is well known for a lot of people. It is the smiley faces. It's the thank

you Jesus hats. It's becoming very popular with college students and high school students,

though. Definitely, I see people wearing it all the time. And I smile because it's really cool

to know someone

whose heart is for Jesus and see them being successful in something that's about showing Jesus

light. And so, Maya, thank you so much for coming on. Tell everyone hi. Hello. Thank you so much

for having me, Grace. I'm so excited. Thank you for the introduction too. That was quite one. And I just wanted

to say, thank you for having me. And I can't wait to be talking about all this. Oh my gosh. It's so cool. Well, it's, I have a lot of people who are like bloggers, like friends, whatever, but like you're a successful businesswoman. And I just think that's so cool. And you're in college, you're going to be a senior next year. So you're still a junior in college right now, right?

Yes, I'm finishing. woman. And I just think that's so cool. And you're in college. You're going to be a senior next year.

So you're still a junior in college right now, right? Yes, I'm finishing up finals week right now. So I'm actually next to the finals. Yes. That's me. I forget finals exist. I'm like, can you do an interview this week? And you go to FSU, correct? Yes. I'm about to be a senior at FSU. Very cool. Okay, so what makes you want to start your business in general? Like, how did the start? Well, to be completely honest, because I will keep it completely honest the entire

time. It was honestly kind of an accident. I originally started drawing. So I love things

that have meaning behind them and things that are

made with intention. And so I was actually in Texas with my family and like the shopping

capital, like just trying to find some clothing that had intentional messages behind it. And I was

just kind of like, I couldn't find anything. And I was kind of surprised because I know that

there are so many people that are looking for things that kind of just remind them just to be living positively and just to be spreading love, truth, and light. And so I couldn't find anything. And so I, like, was in my hotel room with my parents, my whole family. And it was like three o'clock in the morning. And so I, like, just couldn't go to sleep at all these ideas in my head.

And so I was like, you know what?

Like, I'm just going to, I'm not going to miss this. I'm going to go ahead and write them down. So I just started drawing. And I was drawing. That's where the Keeps Spiling hat and the T.YJ hat came. And I was just drawing ideas. And originally, Mickey Sparland Hat looked a little different than it does now.

But I was just kind of, and I was like, I would write down like message. drawing ideas. And originally, the Keep Smiling Hat looked a little different than it does now.

But I was just kind of, and I was like, I would write down like messages, like things that would

remind me, like of what that hat meant to me. And so the first one I tried was the Keep Smiling
