honestly. I just want to start this whole episode by saying thank you because you've been so

encouraging, giving me so much inspiration, so much insight as to what you want to hear, who you

want to hear from, what we should talk about here. And it's just been a really fun journey. So I just,

I just sometimes think, I need to pause and say thank you for all that you have done, just even by

listening, by hitting play, by sending your feedback, by DMing me after you listen to an episode,

sending an email after you listen to an episode. It's just so much fun for me to get to hear from you and your feedback. And I was thinking about this

a couple weeks ago and I realized we, I have been doing this show and hosting this show for over

six years now. I launched this podcast in October of 2018. So it has been six years and some change

since this show started. And for the first time in six years, I have decided to do

something that I've never done before in this entire time of hosting this podcast. And I want to share

a little bit about what that's going to look like with you. This is going to be a very short and sweet

episode, but I thought it would be an opportunity to kind of give you a little bit of an update and share what you can expect over the next couple weeks, couple months, and then,

yeah, that way you're not like blindsided when things change a little bit. So let's dig into

this. It'll be short and sweet, like maybe five minutes, but at least you'll know what's going on.

Thank you. All right. So here is the big update. And it probably isn't that big to anyone else, but it feels big to me just because in six plus years, I've never done this. But for the very first time in the history of the Shep Podcast, I am going to be taking a break from podcasting and airing episodes every single

week. It'll be a short break. The plan right now is just through the first couple months of the

year. So we'll be back in March with kind of like a new season. A lot of shows do seasons. And I really love the idea of that. I'm not sure that that's going to be exactly

how we do it. But in six years, I've just posted a, we've aired a new episode basically every week
