Morning everybody, welcome to your free podcast for today. It's a little bit extra being Tuesday, the second of January. Do you know, it's been a month. It's taken a month for my voice to get back to anything that could reasonably call passable. And so for all those people going, where,

what's happening? And we've been going, we so desperately wanted to do it. Every day, the producer

would say, let's have a listen. We do the first few that you go, it's not good enough. And, you know,

we wanted to make sure that it was, it was sounding good. You know, we don't want to fob you off like other programmes, you know, with sort of substandard

voices.

Not on this station, other stations.

So we thought we'll make sure it's good.

And then today we did a little test.

In fact, we've been sitting in the studio for the best part of an hour now sort of going,

la la la, la, me, me, me, me, you, you, you, you, you. Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch. And it always works every time, doesn't it?

So we thought we'd have a go at sort of separating the wheat from the chaff,

separating the celebrities from the Zed list people that you hope will vanish up their own rear end before the year is out.

And there is, and I know many of you are just... You've been waiting for this one, haven't you?

They've opened the books for the new series of Love Island.

So expect the usual bunch of dirgy Zedlisters

who've been culled from phone boxes,

the pavement and the u-bend in the toilet.

Yes, here they all are again,

and so they're battling to find romance,

or basically just have sex. And I've seen a few of them. They're all a bit, they're all a bit naff, aren't they? The boys are very girly, girly, and the girls are very butch-butch, you know, they've all got tattoos and they all kind of talk like that. But that's Love Island for you. I don't know why we ever sort of bothered with it. Although you've got one of them, this is sort of, is it, Kemp Keteney. That's the bloke who's not very tall, bless his heart. They'll have to put lifts in his shoes.

He's doing the dancing on ice programme. And he's going to turn out to be the bore of the century.
