I'm Lauren DeYoung-Sholman.

And I'm Radda Ayingvart.

And we have a little bit different format for this week.

I think first we should start with what are we drinking, which is, of course, the usual

format.

That's right.

It is only 9 o'clock in the morning here on the West Coast.

And so despite my last strong showing of champagne cocktail today, I'm drinking a hearty

cup of fresh coffee.

Excellent. I am drinking a hearty cup of fresh coffee. Excellent.

I am drinking a light crisp Vino Verde, which is sort of like drinking juice in the

morning, more or less, just has alcohol in it.

I've definitely been doing some Vino Verde.

It's a nice happy hour drink when you're doing happy hour zooms that won't leave you

totally hammered at the

end of it. And I am drinking just regular coffee, but I am eating blueberry scones that I made this

morning with lemon curd, courtesy of Dead Brabord and Herb Carmen. So I am really living my best life

at the moment. These scones turned out way better than my first batch.

And, you know, I still have some work to do, I think, on the whole butter situation.

But we're making progress.

So quarantine baking remains a thing.
