Hi, Dr. Laura. First of all, thank you so much for taking my call. I cherish your opinion.

I've been listening about two years to you in around about way and somewhat 40 years ago. I'll try to be clear.

So I've been 62 as I was married for 30 years. My husband passed four years ago. I still had his ashes and it was my intention to take his ashes to the place where we got married and disperse some of them, not all of it, but just some of it.

It was in a different state. It was near the ocean. His family. And then and then, wow. What were you going to do with the rest of the ashes?

They were disperse in the places where we lived and enjoyed. So it was he just kind of got dispersed in small increments and some places.

I gave some ashes to his sisters. He has two sisters and a brother. I gave some of the ashes to them. Now, so the I'm calling to find out if I should just the situation that I have if I should ignore it or should I.

Well, tell me what the situation is, please.

Okay. Okay. Sorry. So I went. His family and my daughter and his daughter to a different marriage. They all went to this place where we got married, which is by the ocean.

They all knew the plans. They all knew we were going to go to this spot where we got married. We were going to have a little small memorial kind of thing where you talk about memories and whatnot.

We all had a time, a specific time. His sister, one sister, was a person who is, she takes charge of everything.

She tried to convince me to go out on a boat and just three miles out. Everyone has to pay a bunch of money and disperse the ashes out in the middle of the ocean somewhere.

I said, no, this is what I want to do. He's my husband. This is what I want to do. This is my choice. She knew this. There was no questioning that.

So at the specific time we were supposed to be at this spot. We waited. Six of us were there. We waited. She was in charge of bringing her family members, her sisters, her brother, his wife, this, that, and the other.

We waited 45 minutes before she shows up. Okay, so that we left that go. We all went up to the little spot. We all standing around in a circle and the one sister sat down on a park bench facing away from us.

Her son went down and said, mom, come on, what's going on? She mumbled something. He came back up and he says she doesn't want to participate in this because she doesn't agree with it.

So we all just did our thing. We left her go. We did our thing. At that point everyone had wonderful memories to talk about. After it was all said and done, we all got up and we all left and we all went away.

And we had dinner that night. I kind of avoided talking to this one sister. I was cordial. I didn't make a big man a deal out of it. Well then on the way home as we're driving home, mind you it was a eight hour drive.

I get a text and it's she's apologizing for her what seemed to be petulant and a behavior and it was it just through her because she wasn't good with change of plans.

And that she just didn't really deal well and it brought up memories from her past. I have no clue what that was about.

But should I just write her off? I guess this is my question. Do I just write her off? Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You didn't like her beforehand.
