Thank you Dr. Laura. I have a son who's a junior in college. 20 years old, he's going to be 21 next week.

And you know, my wife and I had two retired school teachers. Okay. And throughout our work life, we saved in a 529 college fund.

The finance they have both the education. Okay. So my first son, he's graduated and out of school a couple years. We paid completely for tuition, housing, all that expenses of college.

My second son, we're running a little short because the spiraling college cost, you know, so we wanted to get a job. Okay. We wanted to like maybe work part time while he's in school.

And keep saying you're going to do it, but you never actually get the job. Okay. Is there anything between your belly button and your knees that you're aware of?

Yes. Good. We're going to use them now.

You're going to give him a call as soon as you could off the phone with me and you're going to say, within a week, you're going to be contributing this amount of money or this percentage, maybe a month.

If not, you're out of school. That's it. We're not going into debt or losing our house or having stomach aches over this. If you're not going to cooperate and participate, you're done.

You're done. That's between your belly button and your knees and don't discuss this with your wife.

Because she doesn't have what you have between the belly button and the knees. She has it above the breasts with the milk that just pours out milk.

Even though for kids are 50 and being idiots. Okay. So I can rely more on the dads if they know that they have something between their belly buttons and their knees.

Got it. Got it. So let me just, you know, reiterate what you're saying. So if he's not willing to get a job.

He can take a year off from a senior year work and pay for his last year of college.

Because, you know, we paid for seven years. I don't care if he goes, sir, sir, you stop being controlling. I don't care if he finishes colleges and you shouldn't either.

Well, I do care.

Well, you shouldn't care. And if you care, no, it doesn't necessarily.

I don't think Steve Jobs went to college.

I could give you a list of very famous successful people who didn't go to college.

Right.

And these days what they teach you in college doesn't et you up much for much.

And you have to know that. So stop it. He's become a spoiled brat.
