You know, my mom and I have listened to you for almost five years and it totally makes the difference for all of us.

I'm 18 years old and I'm going into college in about two weeks and about five days ago.

I broke up with my girlfriend.

We've been together for about a year and a half and it was a high school relationship and through that we both.

I mean, we've talked a lot afterwards and we both came to the conclusion that we both really like each other still.

But the distance plus, you know, her being pretty hardbroken about it all doesn't want her to jump back into it.

But there's a lot of hope around us getting back together at some point in the future.

And so my question is how long should I hold on to that hope while trying to navigate through this new life and new experiences and new friends.

You know, I just, I'm a little lost at how to how to navigate.

Seriously, you were a kid and you were cute together.

But neither one of you has established a full independent adulthood and it is only after you do that that you're truly in a position to make a wise choice.

The kind of emotional connections we all have, we all had, I was a kid once, are not mature, they're idealistic, you're a little self centered.

And that's all normal.

You're going to start the part of your life where you're establishing yourself as an adult man.

That means you may or may not fit into each other's lives anymore.
