Hello, fellow Robo Capitals, hope you're well.

So we've got a big trip planned this Friday.

And as usual, with these trips, I'm going to live stream almost the entire time.

We'll see how many live streams I do.

But what's really exciting is I am going to a Colombian gold mine.

That is right. You heard correct. I'm driving about three and a half hours south of Medellin.

We're going to go through some actual dangerous territory. That's for sure. We might have to take a guide with us,

but we're going to go down there because I have heard that there are a few gold mines down there

where I could actually buy pure gold under spot. So this is going to be really interesting. I know most of you are kind of gold bugs,

and I would put myself into that category as well. As far as from a standpoint, I think everyone

should own gold as an insurance policy, not investment advice. Do I know if the price is going up or down? No. And as you guys know from

watching a lot of my videos, I have no idea what drives the price of gold. In fact, nobody does.

I just know that it's a really good store of value over thousands of years. And there's no

counter-party risk. And in today's

completely insane world where we have overreaching governments full of central planners and

authoritarians, it is very wise to have a portion of your portfolio in an asset that has no counter-party risk,

regardless of what the price is going to do in the next six months or a year.

And how cool would it be if I could actually find a place to buy gold under spot.

I don't know if maybe they'll give me a deal.

If I buy a lot, like if I went down there and bought like, I don't know,

a million dollars, not that I'm going to do that this Friday,

but got to do a little due diligence, right?
