I'm a 26 year old male and I found out my 26 year old wife has been cheating on me for the

past month. Oh, and I found out this morning, six days into our honeymoon. We've been together

for six years. She left her phone while she went to get food at the resort we're at. I saw a

message from a monica that read, can't wait to see you. Don't let your worry of him knowing

ruin your trip. Love you so much. Also, a ton of messages back and forth about how much they love

each other or some shes sitting in the airport completely numb. Her only defense is this wasn't

supposed to happen. She claimed she caught feelings for a temporary worker at her job for the holiday

season. We work at the same 2,000 plus person company. She wants a second chance but won't tell

the other guys she's done with him. I need some reassurance that I'm doing the right thing by

telling her we're done. I made it home safely and I'm staying in my parent's house until I can find

my own place. She left me a voicemail this morning crying about how sorry she is and how she's

meeting the guy today to break things off with him. The fact that she wants to go through the

proper face to face breakup with him is a slap in the face to me after everything. On top of that,

there will be zero proof that she actually does anything at all. Yeah. The way I think she sees it

is that if I don't take her back, she has a backup plan. Screw this shes. I've got an appointment

with a lawyer tomorrow. After two days, my wife finally decided that she was going to end it with

this other guy. Naturally, I want to prove so I sat there while she sent the messages and showed

me the responses back and forth. The first thing that struck me as odd is that every time she said

anything to the guy, she prefaced and ended with how sorry she was. Secondly, the guy expressed that

he deserved a face to face after everything. So after a pussy footing around and being nice to the

guy, I told her that she can either end it completely or I was leaving for good and never coming back.

So I dictated to her that he was never to contact her, see her or attempt to see her in any way
