Hello, my friends. Welcome back. It is time for the morning mindset. I hope you're ready

to get your minds aligned with the truth of God today. And I want to invite you beginning

this episode to join me after all the music fades at the end of the episode for a 60-second

You can call it an awakening whatever helps you in terms of how to think about it. Whatever

terminology helps you, that's what I'm going to be focusing on episode by episode at the

end of the morning mindset. All right, today we're looking at the idea of you and I being

part of Jesus' body. Now that sounds kind of grotesque in a way and kind of, you know,

the theory of what do you mean part of Jesus' body? Well, that's a phrase we use in church to

mean the community of believers that have come together under faith in Christ, but it's more

than that. There is a connection, a spiritual connection that happens between us and Jesus. Let's

read 1 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 12 through 13. It says, for just as the body, meaning

human body is one and has many members and all the members of the body, though many are

one body. The stopper moment, do you see the analogy he's making? The human body has

hands, feet, fingers, kidneys, brains, you know, things like that, and it's all one body

even though there are many parts. He goes on to say, so it is with Christ. For in one

spirit, we were all baptized into one body. Now don't let that word baptized throw you. It

just means included in, made a part of one body. Jews or Greeks, so ethnicity is not an issue,

slaves or free, so social status, employment status is not an issue. He says, and are all made

to drink of one spirit. So what Paul's communicating here is that when you become a believer in Christ,

and his spirit comes into transform you, something about you changes, and that something is that you

are now connected, both to Christ and to other believers in an interdependent way. And when we talk
