grateful for the privilege of prayer. We don't understand exactly how it works in terms of your sovereignty over everything

and your ordaining power that brings things to be.

And yet you ask us to engage with you in prayer and ask you for things and to move your hand

in some way through our prayers.

And Lord, we ask that you would help us as we pray today

to align ourselves with your will so that we can pray your will because you tell us in the book
