What can I do for you Mary?

I'm calling because I appreciate you talking about character or lack of in our society today

My job people make an appointment and then I've had recently where people just don't have the courtesy to if they can't make the appointment cancel or call you know

They don't call me or they don't text me to let me know that they're not going to be at their appointment

So I'm just really struggled with that you said anything that might cause some you know stress I just wondered if you had any good ideas on how you deal with somebody that's inconsiderate like that

What do you do that they make an appointment for?

I actually show property within a 30 mile radius of the office so it involves me leading the office to go let somebody in to see a property

And I have people that will call me like I had this one lady recently call three hours before she wanted to see the property

And I adjusted my schedule so I could be there and I got there she wasn't there I was texting her and calling her no response

And then about a week later she sends me a text back saying like I just I had sent her a message because I kind of was at my within saying how inconsiderate do you think it is for somebody to make an appointment

Three hours prior and no call no show and she sent me back a text saying you know calling me the B word and you know going off on how she doesn't just make an appointment

She's got two kids and she's 32 years old and I was just like kind of blown away I didn't know you know that I didn't bother to call and check on her

I did actually send her a message that day while I was waiting for her you know how I'm here you know and then I tried to call no response

Okay so let's just get to question and what the bigger picture is okay

There are crappy people everywhere and you have to deal with the public and you have to get a thicker skin and not take any of it personally and I said and I believe that what you sent to her not said sent to her was perfect

You held her accountable your boss would probably tell you never to do that she she's not going to call you back she might not call the company back

You know I think there are more important things than appointments and housing sales I think there's currency and character so I think what you did was fine

And you're going to have that happen from time to time people in general do not consider real estate people as important they don't

That's rude but they don't they think you're there they show up they show up if they don't they don't screw it

Because they know there won't be held accountable you held her accountable she won't do that again real soon with anybody else
