0:23.6	Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
0:26.6	Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
0:32.6	Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
0:39.3	Our Lady of Lords, St. Bernadette, our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.
0:45.3	In the name of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit, amen.
0:48.3	So here we are at the Grotto in Lords, France, and this is the very place where our lady revealed herself
0:58.6	to Saint Bernadette.
1:00.1	But she didn't reveal her name at first.
1:01.7	She was just beautiful lady and Bernadette was taken in by her
1:05.7	and was taken in by the messages,
1:07.1	but she didn't know this lady's name until on the Feast of the Annunciation of that year.
1:14.2	Bernadette heard for the first time these words put together. Our lady said to her, I am the
1:20.6	immaculate conception. So when Mary revealed herself, she didn't say, I'm the Blessed Virgin Mary, I'm the mother of the Messiah, I'm the queen of heaven and earth.
1:30.9	She is all of those things, of course, but she chose to reveal herself to St. Bernadette, this young girl here in southern France, as the Immaculate Conception.
1:40.6	I am the Immaculate Conception. Now, what does this mean? As Catholics, we know we have this
1:45.3	big celebration every year on December 8th, this great solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
1:51.3	It's a great dogma of the church, but a lot of Catholics are confused about what this is all
1:55.3	about. Some people think it's about how Mary conceived as a virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit. That is nothing to do with the dogma of the Immaculate Conception. That's about how Mary conceived as a virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit.
