Hello friends and neighbors happy Friday to you. Friday release valve will return next week

that delightful segment on the show where we kick around funny headlines with my comedian

buddies to make your Friday just a little bit more pleasant and perhaps give it a good old cathartic kick to conclude the week and

kick off the weekend. We will do that next Friday but today how could we possibly kick around funny headlines when there's only

one headline that America is talking about, and that headline is this, I have decided to run in 2020 for Vice President on the wig party ticket.

Momentarily, I will play for you the interview

that I announced my candidacy on, which I did on the very fine

podcast, Politics, Politics, Politics, with Justin Robert Young.

And I will elaborate on some of my policy positions, as well as my very interesting campaign all the more

interesting because I only have three months to pull off one of the greatest coups

in American political history becoming a vice president on a ticket that doesn't even have a president.

And as we speak, as you listen to this, I want you to know that I'm somewhere at my campaign headquarters pacing in front of a portrait of George S Patton

riding a horse over a bridge, thinking about ways that I can improve this country,

and thinking about ways that I can run a smart, brilliant, clean campaign.

Mostly in the state of Louisiana

because that's the only

ballot that I am confident I can get on

at this point in time.

Now I want you to know I'm taking this campaign seriously.

I've put a lot of thought into this. I've had people approach me in the past asking

me to run for higher office because I do politics, talk about it a lot, they thought it'd be good

head for it. But I took it seriously. I thought about it a long time long enough in fact
