Can you tell folks a little bit about yourself, your background, and what motivated

you to write this book?

Yeah, so I'm a science journalist now, my most recent career.

And when I was, the motivation was basically my own experience, my own life, my own diseases that I've had to deal with for most of my life for as long as I can remember.

I've had asthma allergies for my whole life, been allergic to peanuts and sesame for as long as I can remember,

had asthma that I mostly sort of grew out of in adulthood.
