Pegs of Square Roots Grow and we're getting back to the basics. We're talking about actually how they're growing from a practical

standpoint so what type of hydroponic method are they using what type of

nutrients are they using what crops are they growing why are they making all

these individual decisions?

And I think it's very fascinating to see

because it will inform what works at their scale

may be highly efficient and highly effective

at our scale in the home garden.

So without further ado, let's go ahead and drop into the episode.

To get away from the AI a little bit and move into maybe more of the I guess you might say the more nuts and

bolts or the more basic part of the farm we know already that it's in a

shipping container we know it's hydroponics but could you do you mind

diving into a little bit about the exact way that you guys grow?

Because there's many different ways to grow hydroponically, many different approaches to lighting,

and wondering if you could shine something on that.

Yeah, so, okay, so we grow vertically in towers we actually use the Zikler towers

Oh from Bright Eggertown. Everything else in there is you you know, pretty standard, you know, climate control, the whole thing.

We use a Google IOT layer to, you know, capture the data.

Again, when we think about jumping around and

it's a different aspect of the farm, but when we think about, you know, trying to minimize waste, we want to think about sustainability, so that we use like

cocoa core like compostable cocoa core plugs, you know, versus say the peat moss or the rock wall that you'll find in a lot of a lot of these things
