hello, Hugh, before I describe why you're a phenomenon, welcome to the podcast.

Thank you. I'm looking forward to it. I like the look of your kitchen, by the way.

Oh, good. Yeah, quite shambolic, quite a lot of bowls, as you can see.

That's fine. I like that kind of vibe.

Good. Well, yeah, it's what you would call maximalist, if not extremely untidy, rather than minimalist. Love it. So, Hugh, well, I'm just going to talk about you to everybody,

so don't go red. I'm sure most people have heard of you. So Hugh is Welsh, so his name is spelt H-U-W rather than G-H,

and he started growing vegetables at the age of nine. Is that right, Hugh? Well, yeah, I mean,

I don't know when the start is really, because nine is when I had skills to kind of do stuff.

But I think my dad just chucked me in from like the age of three, really.

I think when you're in like eight or nine, he's then start to know what's going on.

So I got completely indoctrinated from a young age.

Very good.
