Summary

In the first part of this Feature, Aaron Spivak, Co-Founder of Hush Blankets, shares with us the story of building Hush Blankets, a premium weighted blanket brand that helps you reduce stress and fall asleep faster. He begins by taking us on his journey from dreaming of being a professional hockey player to building a party bus business and doing up to 1400 proms per year, all while he was in high school. He also talks about his first and ongoing, business Revitasize and how that led to Hush Blankets. Along the way, he describes the milestones and challenges, such as deciding to go to college or be an entrepreneur or appearing on Dragon's Den (Canadian version of Shark Tank), where his pitch has become legendary (watch it here) and more. Here's the rest of his story.

In part one, Aaron discusses: Who is Hush Blankets; His journey; The party bus business; Should you go to college; Are entrepreneurs made or born; The best way to know if you're an entrepreneur; Why providing way more value is key; Why a weighted blanket; Why your business is your baby, and that's why you give it everything you have; And so much more.
