Summary
A 65-14 win over Northwestern State showed us a few things about LSU. The offense has its identity. The defense is still finding its, but learned a lot Saturday and showed its adaptability. And Coach O is having a lot of fun.
On tonight's show, we talk about Joe Burrow continuing to build a Heisman resume, Terrace Marshall stealing touchdowns, and Dave Aranda fixing things at halftime. We talk about killer instinct and playing up to standards, and we hear from Burrow, Marshall, Jacob Phillips, and JaCoby Stevens. I also posit a theory: it's better to start slow and get better than dominate early and let up late.

| 0:00.0 | We're going to try to keep this standard up. |
| 0:02.0 | Those offensive guys are pushing us every day because they're going to be elite. You see that three games. Joe throwing over 400 yards. They're putting up 50 points a game. So that forces us as a defense. We don't want to be the weak league of the team. So that means we have to do our job and execute our planes. |

| 1:12.5 | So, you know, some of the guys up here in the office were joking around with me saying, |
| 1:15.6 | hey, Cody, sound a little tired on the podcast. |
| 1:17.5 | Can you up the energy levels a little bit? |
| 1:19.5 | And yes, I can try to do that, but Grant had the best advice of all. |
| 1:23.1 | Grant said that he listened to last week's hurry up on 1.5 speed on his podcast app. And he said, |
| 1:30.0 | I sounded absolutely chipper, just full of energy, and I was ready to go. Actually, I think, |
| 1:35.7 | now that I think about it, I think granted you listen to it on 2x speed. So if you want me to |
| 1:40.1 | sound just like I've shot a couple shots of espresso. Go ahead and bump that bad boy up to |
| 1:45.1 | 2x speed and we'll be good to go. I guess I could do it in post processing. I could speed my own |
| 1:50.9 | voice up, but that feels like cheating. I'm going to let you do that if you want to. And if you |
| 1:55.9 | like me in just regular old speed, here I am and I'll keep it at this speed. But I will try to, |
| 2:03.3 | in the name of the hurry up, get to everything as quickly as possible. There is a lot to get to, |
