two storm. The National Hurricane Center says it's about 100 miles west southwest of New Orleans.

New Orleans Fire Chief Roman Nelson advising people to shelter in place until the storm passes.

As soon as the winds go down, our first responders are going to be out doing windshield surveys checking on

the damage we don't need them to be navigating around you so again stay at home until

we give you the all clear and tell you that it's safe to be on the roads again

forecaster's warning of life-threatening storm surge in hurricane conditions all along

Louisiana coast, with a storm surge warning from the Mississippi Alabama border

to the Alabama Florida border. A ceremony in New York City marking 23

years since the 9-11 attacks. President Biden, Vice President Harris, and

a former President Trump were in attendance. Family members, survivors, first responders and dignitaries gathered in lower Manhattan today

to make good on the promise to never forget the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001.

Moments of silence were held, and the names of the 2,977 people

who were killed on 9-11 were read aloud.

My father, William Ralph Rob. Dad, we only got six years together, but I have nothing but the

happiest memories. And every day I remember how lucky and how proud I am to be your daughter.

This evening, the tribute and light will honor those lost with twin beams aimed skyward

near ground zero.

the building shortly after the Twin Towers were struck.
