Using match bullets for hunting is very controversial.

This is a subject that has a lot of people on both sides of the fence,

each of them, each side, quoting their own preferred pros and cons, and there's

a lot to it.

It's a very deep subject that can get people in a lot of trouble, but if employed properly

can have some undeniable benefits. I promised to address this once many

episodes ago in one of the Cartridge and Bullets episodes and a

listener recently sent me a message asking me to do so. So I'm going to go ahead and do that. It's kind of, you know, holding my own toes into the fire. It's a bit risky, but we're going to go ahead and address match bullets for hunting to hunt with them

or not to hunt with them. It's your choice. All I want to do is try and help you be better informed

so as to make a good decision whichever way you go.
