Governor Abbott’s office said it plans to appeal the ruling. New York City Mayor Eric Adams spoke at a town hall last night and bashed President Biden’s immigration policies and warned that the migrant crisis is destroying his city. Suspended Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's impeachment trial hearing is heating up as it goes into a third day. Paxton faces 20 articles of impeachment from the Republican-controlled Texas House, but the Senate adopted only 16 of the 20. Paxton is in the fight of his life, defending himself against accusations of disregard of duty, constitutional bribery, conspiracy, and dereliction of duty. 0:42.2	announcing that the Department of Justice plans to submit a new indictment of Hunter Biden
0:46.3	by the end of the month. The filing came in response to the Speedy Trial Act,
0:50.3	which requires that any information or indictment charging an individual shall be filed within
0:55.6	30 days from the date on which such individual was arrested or served with a summons in connection
1:00.5	with such charges. And that the timing exempted the time spent working on the sweetheart plea
1:05.5	heart, the sweetheart plea deal that later fell apart. Weiss wrote in his filing,
1:10.7	the government intends to seek the return of an indictment in this case before September 29th,
1:16.0	thus the government does not believe any action by the court is necessary at this time.
1:20.6	Well, Hunter's attorneys desperate to cling to something to keep their crack head client from
1:25.0	living behind bars for a nice long while, set in a statement yesterday that they believe the
1:29.9	previous signed agreement in the case, you know, the one that the judge tossed out. They say it
1:34.6	remains valid and prevents any additional charges from being filed against Mr. Biden,
1:39.0	who has been abiding by the conditions of release under that agreement for the last several weeks,
1:44.0	including regular visits by the probation office. But I guess I would probably cling to that too,
1:49.2	if I knew the mountain of evidence against my client just continued to multiply daily.
