All right, good people, today is Election day. It is Tuesday, November the 4th,

which means most of y'all should be making your way to the polls somewhere in some kind of way.

Well, maybe not most of y'all. Today is technically considered not an on-year election,

but y'all pretty much, frankly, most of our communities have elections just about every

single year. So even if it's dog

catcher who's running for something in your community vote for the dog catcher and and we got to be

clear because everything that we have been experiencing in the past several months is all political

and it is all tied to the ballot hunger is political we're going to talk more about what's happening

with snap in just a little bit your Your ability to eat food, literally, your ability to go into a store

and have enough money to purchase food without having to steal nothing is on the ballot. Your ability

to have a job is on the ballot. There are 42 million people right now who do not have access

to food that they would have had access to food for if there were another party in leadership.

Now, you may not like that, but we have to be crystal clear that the Republicans had intended to destroy the social safety net from the beginning.

They wrote a 922 page plan about it called Project 2025.

They had four parts to the goddamn project part one was the

manifesto of items that were listed in that 922 pages and if you read those pages you know that

ending snap benefits was a part of the plan firing massive amounts of black people was a part of

the plan they wrote this shit down it is all political your

ability to have a job almost half a million black people now out of a job who used to have jobs

good jobs where they were experts they were really good at those jobs and now those jobs are gone
