| 0:09.0 | Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. |
| 0:12.0 | Today we meditate on the fourth beatitude. Blessed are those who |
| 0:16.7 | hunger and thirst for righteousness. Now righteousness may have a negative connotation if you think of someone who is self-righteous. |
| 0:26.0 | But according to Jesus, righteousness refers to those who do the will of God. |
| 0:33.0 | Therefore, when Jesus says, |
| 0:36.0 | Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, |
| 0:39.0 | he means those who hunger to do the will of God. Those who have a |
| 0:45.0 | have a burning desire to be united with God by doing his will. |
| 0:51.0 | Our father who art in heaven, hallow it would be your name, |
| 0:56.7 | Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. |
| 1:00.4 | Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass |
