2 Chronicle 714.

Familiar verse of Scripture, but let's notice it carefully.

He said, if my people, which are called by my name,

shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive

their sin and will heal their land. Now this verse has been used in a lot of different applications,

and it has a lot of different applications, and it has a lot of different

applications.

We do see healing in this verse, don't we?

Now, unless you'd think he's just talking about some symbolic representation of healing,

maybe spiritual healing or whatever, you have to just back up a verse or two there, and see,

he's talking about, among other things, drought and pestilence, and the enemy attacking.

And pestilence mean plagues, disease.

Yes, if you look that word up, it means plagues.

And so he's talking about the people being healed from these plagues and from these diseases.

So he's definitely including and specifically mentioning physical healing from sickness and disease and plague.

But we said that, you know, so many times we'll just emphasize you need to seek God, you need to pray,

and then of course we faith people we we know about believing God and believing you receive

and making your good confessions.

And that's certainly all true and all part of healing.

But did you notice the first thing that he said that his people were to do when they're in trouble?

The first thing.
