looking at Proverbs chapter 25 verses 1 through 7. And Solomon, being a king, has lots of advice

for us about how we as citizens should relate to government officials, the king, the prime minister,

the president. I mean, most of us are never going to roadshoulders with those people, specifically,

yet the principles that we find here, I think are very helpful for us when it comes to the leaders

we do roadshoulders within our attitude toward leaders all the way up the chain of command

in any kind of government. All right, let's look at Proverbs 25 1 through 7. Solomon says,

it is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings to search things out.

As the heavens for height and the earth for depth, so the heart of kings is unsertrable.

Take away the dross from the silver, and the Smith has material for a vessel. Take away the

wicked from the presence of the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness.

Do not put yourself forward in the king's presence or stand in the place of the great,

for it is better to be told, come up here, then to be put lower in the presence of a noble.
