Hey, hey, hey, it's Friday, and I get excited about every weekend, but this is one when we get to celebrate

our mom. So happy Mother's Day ahead of time to all you moms out there.

Grateful for my mom who I'll get to see in heaven soon

and Debbie's mom who lives with us

and my wife Deb who just might be the goat of all moms.

My daughter's Jody, Lauren, and Laura,

who are stellar examples of what a mom ought to be.

I'm so grateful to be surrounded by a ton of amazing

women. This is The Daily Drive, and I am Mike Bro, and we started digging in this week to a little

book in the back of the Bible called James. James was the brother of Jesus, and eventually goes from

unbelief to becoming one of the major players in the early church. And this was originally a letter written to encourage first century followers of Jesus to hang in there

through some very hard things they were going through.

So I'm grateful that God inspired this letter and preserved it as part of his word

so that we could benefit from the practical wisdom that it contains.
