Well, the Democrats are euphoric.

Many of the media pundits and prognosticators seem pretty happy too as the Democrats

swept every major race.

And I think we've just been through a kind of a classic case study of media hype, by which I mean,

and we're thrown out the buzzers today because there's so many moving parts to the podcast,

by which I mean that when you strip everything else away, Democrats haven't really had anything

to celebrate for a year since

Trump won his second term and made easy work of Kamala Harris. But now that we have these

off-year elections and, you know, political reporters and junkies and soothsayers, what do

they do? They like to cover races. And so you got a lot of

these outwire polls, oh, this race is tightening and that race is tightening. But in the end, it didn't

matter. The Democrats won by comfortable margins. And you look at New Jersey, where Democrat,

Mikey Sherrill, became, I believe the first governor in the state.

I can't think of one, and I used to cover New Jersey.

You look at Virginia, where Abigail Spanberger easily won her race for governor, first female governor in Virginia's history, and then a little bit more of a mixed reaction in New York City, where, as everybody could see coming, Zoran Mamdani,

turning back Andrew Cuomo, about a 10-point victory to become the city's first Muslim mayor,

and he's already under attack.

I mean, I've talked about this, that the GOP loves the idea of running against Mamdani.
