We're going to give our final thoughts on the Bulldog Georgia match up today later in the show. But you know how it is? When the schedule first comes out, you say, you know what, that's a sure loss.

As we get a little closer and we get a little closer you start thinking man

i remember back in 1980 nobody gave us a chance and we beat number one i remember back in 1996

jackie sherrill was on the ropes a little like he was going to be fired at years end.

He found a way to beat Alabama,

changed the course of the SEC Western Division race that year.

It may have even cost Alabama a chance

at another 9thful championship.

So crazier things have happened.

They really have.

I remember a ballgame with the state in Florida.

There were a lot of people that thought the fun and gum was just going to come to Stargville

and absolutely destroy us.

And we made Shane Matthews look like that he was a junior college quarterback,

and that's a guy that went on to play several years in a national football league.

So there's always the chance, right?

But come kickoff, I will have convinced myself, you know what, man, we got a shot.

My hope is whether what our belief is, I hope that our Bulldogs believe that.

You know, how many times in your life and maybe you're playing career,

most of us didn't play above the high school level.

Many people didn't play above the peewee level, little league level.
