On the mat.

Try to find a comfortable seating position here as we prepare for our meditation practice today.

Try to ground into the earth as if you're sitting on a throne, as if you're a king or a queen,

working with your mind, working and ruling your world.

Legs can be in a cross-seated position, whatever's comfortable for you.

And then maybe take the back of your hand into your lower back and give your spine a gentle push,

feeling your spine rise up, creating a sense of elegance and dignity.

Coming to the point where you have a strong and firm back, yet soft and open heart.

Placing the hands gently onto your thighs, palms facing down,

and just come to a sense of good head and shoulders,

as if someone's pulling a piece of strength

through the top of your head, elongating your spine.
